San Francisco’s Top Female Personal Trainers

Tammy Foxx

Hi! I am Tammy Foxx, the proud owner of Eden Fitness Studio. For many years, I envisioned creating a clean and safe environment for female personal trainers and their clients. My vision has finally become a reality.

I designed Eden Fitness Studio with you in mind. It is beautiful in form while not compromising on functionality. Are you a female bodybuilder or a new mom trying to get back into shape after pregnancy? If so, Eden has everything you need.

In addition to Eden, I also own and operate Bridal Fitness Coach. Since 2009, I have helped scores of happy brides and grooms achieve their fitness goals.

In my spare time, I enjoy golfing, playing Catan, taking care of Eden’s many plants, reading, listening to music, volunteering, and traveling with my husband. I believe in Southern hospitality, enjoying life, and laughing a lot.

I am a NASM Certified Personal Trainer and a Registered Teacher with the Royal Academy of Dancing in London.

I have three amazing daughters, and it has always been my priority to lead by example: be kind to yourself, be good to your body and be your best self. I strongly believe in training your mind, body, and soul, as mental and physical wellness play an equal and vital role in your attitude towards life. I assure you that your physical appearance will morph with your positive attitude.

My objective is to help clients build a comprehensive and holistic program that entails core strengthening, cardiovascular, endurance, resistance, agility, and speed training. I also love to incorporate elements of ballet training into the routine to increase flexibility and bring awareness to lengthening posture. Ultimately, I want my clients to feel amazing and strong after every workout. I commit to a consistent and understanding relationship geared towards my clients’ wellness goals.

Jasmine Sandoval

Hello. My name is Jasmine. I'm passionate about health and fitness because of my own health and weight loss journey.

Years ago, I got a wake-up call. I was diagnosed with an autoimmune and inflammatory disease. In addition, my health began to decline because of this disease and the side effects of medications.

Rather than jumping on the bandwagon with various diets, I focused on portion control, nutrient-dense foods, and exercise. As a result, I lost over 100 pounds. My loss turned out to be a gain. I gained confidence, strength, energy, joy, and a passion for life.

I design exercise programs that combine primary movement patterns, strength, flexibility, and balance for various ages. I've worked with clients from 20 to 89 years old. I strive to collaborate with my clients to create a program that works best for them.

In my free time, I enjoy walking, reading, sketching, and quietly watching the birds and butterflies in my garden.

American Council on Exercise (ACE) - Certified Personal Trainer

Karen Bayley-Ewell

I am a fitness professional certified by the American Council on Exercise (ACE), and ACE Certified orthopedic specialist. My specialties are endurance training, speed development, strength-training, kettlebell training, boxing, core strength and stability, and rehabilitation from sports injuries.

Over the years, I have worked with people of varying fitness levels. During this time, I have witnessed people accomplish their goals, large and small as well as help them overcome their fears and road blocks. My clientele are typically peri/post menopausal women, but I have also worked with older adults male and female.

I see my profession as something more than just showing people exercises and how to lift weights. It’s about connecting with people and helping them make sometimes very difficult lifestyle changes. This means helping people to think differently about health, exercise, and most importantly, themselves.

I have been into health and fitness since the mid-90s and since then, I have completed 10 ultra distance races (any distance more than 26.2 plus miles/40km) at various mountainous locations around the world, and as well as many self-supported training marathons. I see the gym as a tool-box for working on the things we like to do outside!

Movement is medicine! I believe stretching and staying active are the most beneficial ways to live a happy and long life. Not only does it feel good physically, but it can also help emotionally and mentally.

I want to help my clients gain confidence in their abilities to reach new mobility, strength, and flexibility levels. As an athlete and with my experience in physical therapy, I will encourage you to stay consistent and achieve your goals with a positive and encouraging mindset.

I aim to help people achieve their aspirations, whether big or small. I enjoy working with all types of people, helping them get back to doing what they love or reaching new heights.

Simone Gardinier

Greetings, my name is Simone!

I am an invigorating, passionate, goal-driven fitness trainer whose purpose is to not only help you achieve your fitness goals but to influence you to adapt to a long-term lifestyle change! While educating my clients on proper movements, safe techniques and nutrition is my top priority, introducing them to a deeper, holistic understanding of body activation is my goal. I believe activating the body through movement, the mind through manifestation & the soul through mantras are the keys to ensuring longevity and happiness in an individual’s life & fitness journey.

Three years ago, I reclaimed my life by beginning a new fitness journey. I lost 70 pounds naturally through healthy nutrition choices, HIIT cardio & resistance training. Once it transcended into a lifestyle change I knew elevating, motivating, and teaching others by becoming a fitness trainer was my purpose.

I am a trainer who understands the importance of safety and having the fundamentals established first. Once the challenge begins, I design a custom fitness program that focuses on the client's gains based on their current fitness level and goals. I incorporate core strengthening exercises, cardiovascular exercise, endurance training, functional training, resistance training, plyometrics, and agility and speed in my training sessions. In my experience, incorporating these techniques guarantees results, a challenge, and a fresh, fun outlook to every session.

I look forward to seeing you through your journey!
